The Antennae Galaxies
This is the only astro-image I was able to captrure this year. Hoping for better conditions! The Antennae galaxies are a perfect example of what a galaxy collision looks like. There is a lot of starburst activity happening, where new stars are born out of clouds of gas. Some of that material is ejected into space, giving the appearance of a bug and its antennae.
