Snow!
We are getting lots of snow in Hocking Hills. This is one of our favorite snowy cabin pics. #homegarden

NGC6946 - Fireworks Galaxy
The Fireworks galaxy in the constellation Cepheus, is a very diffused spiral, with very low surface brightness. Dark skies and good conditions are all required to get good data on this. I love the delicate detail in the arms, the contrast between the different colors and the H2 pink regions captured in this view. Imaging telescope: Vixen VC200L astrograph f/9
Imaging camera: QHY9M CCD
Filters: Orion 2'' RGB
Mount: Astro-Physics AP900 GTO
Other: Meade DSI guider, Robofocus
